2185 June 02 0600 hours
The sun is rising for various worlds across the Galaxy. Specifically on Afoyay Bay, where the early risers were mentally preparing for the morning reveille, followed by the Super Earth National Anthem.
Instead of music, a strange, unauthorised transmission overrode the speakers of the super-massive prison:
“Prisoners of Afoyay Bay, this is the voice of the revolution speaking. This is not a drill nor a product of squid mind control. Within minutes, we will arrive at your location with ships to evacuate you. We are an army of like-minded humans, and we are coming to free you from Super Earth’s chains. Arise, my brothers—arise and welcome the new dawn. As for the guards, I warn you: step aside and surrender your weapons if you want to live. We are the Crimson Armed Forces, and we are armed to the teeth.”
Intelligence Officer Lyra and her expert crew of saboteurs and instiagators listened to the broadcast echoing through the vast facility.
Officer Lyra to infiltrator squad: "Code 0."
The nation-sized facility erupted in chaos. A massive shootout commenced, plunging the planet-scale complex into disarray. The embedded rebel squads hunkered down and orchestrated the assault from within.Defence Minister Shams Giojani, closely monitoring the situation, ordered whatever vessels were available after the Battle of Super Earth to assemble into a riot-control Helldiver fleet and scramble for immediate deployment to crush the revolt.
Reports of a possible “Chaos fleet” converging on the facility hardened his stance. In a rage, he ordered indiscriminate orbital bombardment and consequently the incineration of everyone—friend or foe.
As the bombardment began, vaporizing prisoners by the hundreds of thousands, an FTL jump signature suddenly filled the sky above the spaceport. The overwhelming rebel arrival overpowered port defenses and disrupted the rate of bombardment.
Officer Lyra in the crossfire: “They’re here. Hold on a bit longer, lads—there is hope.”

Super Earth’s emergency fleet FTL-jumped in and engaged the “Chaos” fleet. Moments later, a second rebel fleet—which had detached from the mothership formation—emerged and flanked them, while the massive motherships trailed behind in safe formation, maneuvering slowly due to their sheer size.
As the massive naval battle commenced, the first Chaosdiver battalions launched from their Chaospods when opportunities arose. Amid the explosions, the massive prisoner mob cheered wildly; chants of “Vera Libertas!” echoed through the rubble.
It was two rebel fleets in full force against one Super Earth fleet—however battle-hardened—and a spaceport whose reinforcements arrived late. In space battles, timing and numerical superiority are the variables that matter most.
The naval battle raged for two days. The sky became littered with ship debris, creating an orbital winter that blocked the sun and choked the atmosphere.

The motherships arrived one day later and began loading the survivors. Medical teams conducted search-and-rescue operations amid the ruins.
Parturidax and his squad had slaughtered thousands of SEAF troops, along with hundreds of Helldivers who had managed to land under search-and-destroy orders.
The day was won—but at what cost?
The 1st Fleet Battleship Crimson Dawn that carried Commander Kael and Chief Admiral Hugo has been destroyed, the leader of the revolution had fallen.
The news would devastate everyone in the Command Squad, who now had to carry it back to Libertas Veil, their newly established homeworld.
Second-in-command, Top Lieutenant Thorne, now had to step up to the role of Commander.
Super Earth lay depleted, and so did the cause of Vera Libertas.
A new nation had been born in war—forged in rivers of blood and the sacrifice of millions.
